With the top floor of One Friargate now complete, we thought it was about time someone other than Bowmer & Kirkland got to see the stunning views across the city, from the highest floor of One Friargate.
We invited local residents who have been involved in the Friargate project from the very beginning to come and see what progress we have made on the construction site.
Jeremy Thomas, Gary Maltby and Matthew Davies were all involved in the Residents Liason Group, which worked very closely with us and helped shape our plans throughout the design and planning stage. As a thank you for their help and support we invited them to join us and be the first residents to gaze out over the city.
Stephen Reynolds, from Friargate Coventry LLP and Paul Kelly, Friargate Project Manager at Bowmer & Kirkland, also joined the group to explain the project in more detail.
Stephen Reynolds said: “Residents have played an active role in the development of Friargate and we wanted to show our appreciation by giving members of the residents group the opportunity to be the first to see the view from the top.
“One Friargate is one of the only places in Coventry where you can see the ‘Three Spires’ unobscured so it is a unique view across the city and one which we hope will become very special.”
